1993년에 발매된 시리즈의 두번째 작품. 주인공은 전작에 등장했던 젊은 여성 연금술사 겸 마법사인 잔시아(Zanthia). 키란디아의 이곳저곳이 갑자기 사라지는 일이 벌어지고, 온 나라의 마법사들이 모여 해결책을 궁리한다. 사태를 해결하려면 세계의 중심에 있는 앵커 스톤(anchor stone)이 필요하다는 결론이 나오고, 이를 위해 마법사들 중 가장 젊은 잔시아가 여행을 떠나게 된다.
