어느 정도 성공한 전작인 시즈쿠에 바로 이은 두 번째 비주얼 노벨이다. 제목인 키즈아토는 일본어로 '상처자국'이란 뜻이다. 전작보다 볼륨을 많이 늘였으며 스토리에선 동양, 정확히는 일본적인 느낌이 물씬 풍긴다. 비록 전작보다는 살짝 가벼워졌지만 계속해서 이어지는 무거운 분위기는 그대로이며 시즈쿠보다 더 성공해서 투하트가 나올 수 있는 원동력이 된다.
